Metering slide

Hand or pneumatically powered metering slides for free-flowing bulk materials.

DEANTEC metering slides are characterised by a simple and therefore cost-effective design. Since the slider moves entirely inside the housing, and never travels outside, no seals are necessary. The rectangular cross-section always ensures a nearly proportional relationship between travel path and throughput rate. The metering area is set up according to customer-specifications and can range from as few as 100 kg/h up to 300 t/h. We are able to calibrate the metering slides to your specific bulk materials by using relevant material samples.

DEANTEC metering slides are supplied as manual metering slides with low wear and tear and soil resistant trapezoidal spindles and hand wheel. The opening path of the slide can be determined exactly on the built-in steel measuring scale. DEANTEC measuring slides with pneumatic drive are supplied with electro-pneumatic positioners and position sensors. This facilitates the fully automatic operation of the metering slide and makes it well-suited for applications operated with control technology.
